This one stretched me from my norm...and that's always a good thing. I fell in love with this Hero Arts cling stamp and "had had had" to have it. Then when I got these wonderful papers from Die Cuts With A View, they seemed the perfect match. I cut the frame using a new cartridge on my Cricut called Bloom, added some fun sayings from the patterned paper and it all came together.

Moxie Fab World: Card Style Week: Let's Do Classy
This one goes in the mail tomorrow... It's for a vendor as a thank you for their generosity! I loved the way it turned out, so I thought I'd share it here first.
I adore this new set of Inkadinkado angel stamps I just picked up... but then again, I love angels!

Color Throwdown 100
I've been so excited for some time to work on this challenge... I've been visiting all the blogs and have been so impressed by all the talent and inspiration. I found that I loved these colors but had a hard time finding any patterned papers that really showcased all of them. I was glad when I finally found this dotted paper with all the colors so nicely done.
I tried a new technique on the coloring of my stamps. I used a blender pen to pick up just a bit of ink from some chalk ink pads. At first the ink was dark and bold but as you worked it more, it became muted and lighter. A nice technique for a quick coloring job on small areas. Tried it on a larger area and it didn't work as well.... Live and learn, right? That's what it's all about!

2s4y Sketch 56 Second Try
If you saw my last post, you know that I made a card using this sketch that I didn't absolutely love... In fact, I was not satisfied with it at all. Tonight when I sat down, I planned on working on that card... but I just couldn't find any inspiration at all for it. So, instead I did a whole new one... and if I do say so myself, this one is much better. I found this wonderful Deja View paper pack with all these adorable papers and I couldn't wait to start cutting them apart and reassembling them to my liking! Once I found this stamp, I knew I had a concept. Better, much much better!

2s4y Sketch 56
I thought I had the perfect idea for this sketch...but once I started trying to pull it together, I struggled. I spent all afternoon trying different things and ended up with this take on the sketch. I'm not in love with it - in fact, I would appreciate some honest feedback about it. I can't figure out what it is I don't like or how to fix it... just that it doesn't sing to me. Anybody have some advise on it?

Card Patterns Sketch 71
I admit it... I have problems with totally symmetrical designing - so this sketch threw me. It was challenging for me to come up with a design I liked... but in the end, this is a birthday card I already duplicated a couple of times for my friends with birthdays this week.
Found my water color crayons tucked away and was thrilled to break them out again - so many fun colors to choose from and to mix and match. And... this is my favorite color combo at work, purple and green!

Color Throwdown 99
This is for the Color Throwdown 99 --- I had already picked out these colors for another card I had made earlier this week... So, I figured I'd just use up some scraps and make another.
I love the new Hampton Art cling stamps... such style! Added a few touches of a glaze pen and voila... Cute!

Card Patterns Sketch 70
This is my second contest entry... feeling rather bold today, I guess. This one is for Card Patterns - Sketch 70. It's definitely a literal interpretation of the sketch and it came together rather easy. Can't wait to give this one to the next friend who needs a good laugh!
