CYP #121 - Sketch Time

Craft Your Passion has a great sketch going this week for our challenge... It was such an easy design to work with.  I took a few liberties, but you can still make out the design inspiration I got from the sketch jumpstart.

I used a great image from Dearie Dolls (if you haven't found them yet, go! GO NOW! Too cute!).  I found some DCWV papers in my stash and colored her up with my Copics to match.  I am not normally a pennant type girl, but for some reason it just seemed to fit the style of card I was making.  I think it turned out sweet!  It was given to my big sister Cheryl on her birthday!

Come join Craft Your Passion this week for a chance to win a great prize from our sponsor, Sweet Stamps.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Make it Monday - #100 - Linky Party
Hooked On Crafts - #23 - Celebrate
Paper Makeup Stamps - #47 - Endless Summer
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Saturday Challenge - #196 - Bright and Cheerful

CYP #120 - Black + White + One

It's challenge time at Craft Your Passion and this week our challenge is black and white plus one.  I chose this great image from Delicious Doodles to work with.  I used some zebra print background paper and added elements from a fun piece of DCWV paper.  It is simple, but the black and white make it really pop!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
Make It Monday - Linky Party

I used my Cricut to cut these intricate corner elements, giving this card a wonderful Art Nouveau feeling.  I colored her up with my Copics, put her atop a piece of beautiful paper from K&Comp, added an additional strip of matching paper at the bottom, some ribbon and a sweet sunflower charm.

Time to join us... jump over to the challenge site to see our inspiration, then get crafting for a chance to win some great prizes from Simon Says Stamp and A Day For Daisies.

DD #23 - Summer Holidays

This is a hard post to make as it will be my last with Delicious Doodles (for now anyway).  It's taken a lot of hard thought and considering, but I've decided it's time to let someone else get a chance to play with all of Teri's amazing creations.  I have soooo enjoyed working on this team and with these great ladies.  And I cannot say enough too things about working for Teri.  Her talent and skills are only slightly outshined by her amazing generosity and adorable personality.  It has truly been a pleasure.

So, without further babbling, I'll say goodbye to them with this my final card for the challenge "Summer Holidays" going on now on the challenge blog.  Stop by and join in the fun over there for a chance to win some of Teri's great images.
