Tiddly Inks Challenge Time...

I am loving the chance to work with all the adorable images over at Tiddly Inks - I mean, take a look at this one - isn't she just the cutest thing ever?  She is called "Daddy's Girl".  What a great image to use on a Father's Day card, birthday card for dad or anything like that.  I just fell in love with her.

Over at the Tiddly Inks challenge site we have a wonderful card from Lou (Loopy Lou's Loopy Thoughts) to use for inspiration on your project.  I used the card for inspiration on my design but you can pick the colors, the image, the sketch, the embellies...anything that sings to you about her card and create your own project using her inspiration for a chance to win a great prize from Tiddly Inks!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Make it Monday - Linky party
Creative Craft Challenge - Special occasion (not birthday)
Digital Tuesday Challenge - Fabulous fibers

CYP #134 - Photo inspiration

Craft Your Passion has a wonder rainbow photo for the inspiration challenge going right now - pop on over and take a took at the photo and some great samples to be inspired by... then come join our challenge for a chance to win some great prizes.

I went with a "stamps only" theme on this one - I used a great PollyCraft stamp (bummer she's out of business), then found a couple of sentiment's in my stash-o-stamps binders that went well with the image.  I decided that was all this card needed... No design papers or cardstock or ribbons to distract - just the images.  I thought it turned out really well!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Make it Monday - Linky party
Joyful Stamper - Inspire me Friday
Charisma Cardz - Don't be square
Just Keep on Creating - Anything goes
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything goes

Kenny K Challenge - Anything but a card

Kenny K has a great challenge going this week - Anything but a card!!!  We want to see you make a layout, tag, gift box, anything like that... that isn't a card!  We have our very own Kenny K sponsoring one prize as well as K-Design Store for another... A great chance to win some awesome prizes!

So for challenge I did two projects.  The first one is a necklace that I used a sexy image "Cabaret" to finish off the focal piece of the necklace.  The second one is a little "For Santa" card to put out with milk and cookies.  I used one of Kenny's great just released Christmas images, "Santa's cookies".  You gotta head over and check out all the new images - they are awesome!

I will be entering the necklace in the following challenges:

The House that Stamps Built - DCC1024 - anything but a card
Brown Sugar Challenge - #13 - anything goes
Poodles Parlour - anything goes
Fussy and Fancy Friday - anything goes

New release at TiddlyInks

One of the best things about working with great designers is that I get to see some of their images before they are released... like this adorable "Wryn on Cloud 9", which is now available over at TiddlyInks.  Isn't she just too sweet?  It's hard to tell from this photo (should have taken it in natural light), but the entire frame and embellishments are fussy cut and popped up.  I just love the colors and the way Wryn seemed to fit so nicely in this little scene.  Made for easy designing on this one!  Check out some other inspiration from our DT and our current challenge for a chance to play along.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Make it Monday - linky party
Paper Crafting Journey - ribbon or twine

I'm a Tiddly Inker - Oh My Gosh!!!

That's right - I have made it onto the Tiddly Inks Design Team!  I can hardly believe it... Six months ago Torrey and I were talking about our "dream teams" - listing our top three DT's we would love to be on and now, I'm on two of my top three.  Oh my gosh!!!!  I can hardly believe that I get to play with Christy's wonderful images anytime I want.  Her stuff is just to darn cute and she has soooo much to pick from.  If you aren't familiar with her art, hop on over here - I promise you won't be disappointed!  We also have a great challenge blog here!

Here are a few cards I've done this last week - all using her great images.

See what I mean?  Are these cute, or what?

CYP #132 - Which witch is which?

Craft Your Passion is holding a fun challenge this week - it's all about Witches!!!  Good or bad, which witch is which?

I used this adorable image of young witches from our sponsor, A Day for Daisies.  Isn't it just too cute?  I also used up some old papers from my stash (I think they are DCWV) - and let the wild papers fly on this one.  It's kinda wild and not exactly a normal Halloween card, but then again, that's why I like it.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Make it Monday - Linky party
Hooked on Craft - Halloween
Ribbon Carousel - Halloween
All Sorts Challenge - Too cute to spook
Paper Play Challenges - Simply Cute
The Poodles Parlour - Halloween

Kenny K Challenge 115 - Think Pink

Our theme this week is:  Think Pink

Your Pink creations in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This weeks first sponsor is Kenny K's Downloads

The prize from Kenny is the winner's choice of 5 digi's.

And our second sponsor is Marianne Design

For this card I used a great image "Pit Stop Penny" colored with my Copics.  I inked an embossing folder with chalk inks before embossing a piece of white cardstock with it.  It gives a great faux letterpress effect that I just love.  I didn't think it needed much embellishing since the background was so stunning.  So I added a strip of white embossed paper, outlined it all with black cardstock, added a simple sentiment I created in Word - then a pretty pink ribbon and bow.  The final touch was a bling pin that the recipient of this card can take off and wear.  It's a striking card for a great cause!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
The Pink Elephant - #29 - Think Pink
Card Crafters Circle - #44 - Black, white and one color
The Stamping Boutique - #53 - Pink ribbons
Just Add Ink - #139 - Just add something new (new image, new technique)
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - #176 - Monochromatic
Paper Crafting Journey - Add some bling
The Southern Girls - #55 - Tie a ribbon around it

CYP #130 - Save the Hooters

It's the start of October - one of my favorite months... I love the change fall brings, the crisp nights and the autumn colors.  Volleyball season is in full swing, so I'm in the gym a lot doing what I love.  And the holidays are fast approaching - but there's another reason October is such an important month.  It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month - it's the time we remember to check ourselves, support our survivors (love you Diane and Stephanie) and remember those who have lost their fight.

This month is more important to me than ever this year --- one of my dear friends, a lady who brings sunshine to those around her and someone I love and treasure is starting her fight with this horrible decease.  So, if you are reading this I ask that you will lift Gigi up in your prayers!

Our challenge at Craft Your Passion is "Save the Hooters"... and we have some great inspiration over at the site.  Come join us in this challenge to show your support!!!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Make it Monday - Linky party
