Whimsy Design Team - Oh yeah baby!

Wooohooo!  I have some great news to share!!!  I have been chosen as a new designer over at Whimsy Stamps!  I am thrilled for the opportunity to work with all these great stamp designers and such a talented design team.  I'm just so excited to share all the wonderful stamps they have over there.  If you haven't been to the store at Whimsy, you gotta go check it out.

One of the great rewards of this gig is that I have a reason to play with Kenny K's images again.  I started with this wonderful one called Delores D'ammage.  She is so sassy - I just love her.

I inked her up with my Copics, added some Sizzix die cuts, lace, ribbon and brads to finish off the flowers.  I think it turned out pretty darn cute!  But then again, the image is what makes it!

Here is my card for this hop using the great image from Tiddly Inks called Wryn Spring Bling.  I used the Perfect Layers to mat all the elements on the card.  They make it so easy to keep things crisp and even.

Inspiration Friday

Here's my card for inspiration Friday over at Tiddly Inks - I inked up this adorable image called Wryn Close to My Heart.  She's adorable!  I used my Copics and paired her with some romantic papers from My Minds Eye.  I framed her with a great Spellbinders die, used a embossing folder to give some vellum a great texture and then finished it off with some metal elements from my stash.  I'll be giving this one to my sweet hubby for our anniversary next month.

Happy Father's Day

I made a couple of quick cards last night, but the one that I love the most was this simple one I made for my dad for Father's Day... I found this sentiment in my stash and it couldn't have been more perfect for a card celebrating my father.  He has been my mentor, my hero and my strength for my entire life and I love him dearly.  Thanks daddy for always being there for me!

Well, once again I'm late... I tell ya, getting old isn't for wimps.  I can't seem to remember anything anymore without writing it down, and even then I forget to look at what I wrote down... 

I truly believe this sentiment!  You can NEVER have too much happy.  So, when I wanted to make a card for the Tiddly Inks Throwback Thursday, I found this adorable image and paper that went so well together.  I loved the old country feel the paper, so when I discovered the piece that had this sentiment on it, I knew I was going to use it with this image.  These cutie patooties are called Donna and Belinda Party Time.  You can find them and a bunch of other great images over at Tiddly Ink Stamps.

Tiddly Ink Challenge Time

Wow, time is getting away from me... So sorry to be posting this late, but there is another great challenge going on over at Tiddly Inks - Summer Sun is our theme this week.  It's been in the 90's and even 100 once this week, so I am feeling this one!

I used this adorable image called Wryn - Beach Babe.  Is she just too cute?  She reminds me of my daughter at about seven years old.  I paired her with some colorful papers from DCWV and added a surfboard behind her to add to the beachy feel.  And of course, she had to have some sunburned cheeks!  Right?

Tiddly Inks new release - Salty Kisses

Christy of Tiddly Inks did it again - her new releases just get better and better.  I loved coloring up this adorable one named Salty Kisses (well done Tabatha).  I kept the card simple with a scalloped sun background with a fun and twirly ocean bottom edge.  It's one of those cards that could be used for just about any occasion.
