Warm wishes for Amanda




I made this card for a coworker and friend who is leaving our beautiful state for a new life in Seattle. I wanted to make sure she knew that we all "wished her well".

You gotta love the "house-mouse" stamps - they are just too cute. I have more of them than I can count and was thrilled to find a good use for this one. I colored it with my Copics, added some scraps of design paper from DCWV, some hand stitching and a bubbly big ribbon and bow. The sentiment was created with my computer. The edges of everything are stipple brushed with my favorite ink for adding that distressed, vintage look... Amanda seemed to like it! And that's what matters, right?

    I'm sure you're co-worker/friend will love this adorable card. How can you go wrong with that sweet image? The stitching, the layering of papers, and the bow with that image is perfect!! I saw your card on MIM. Best of luck to you!
