So, I recently found myself in quite the creative slump... struggling each and every time I sat down in my studio. The Copic coloring part was still coming easy, but the card design was miserable...to say the least. I know from past experience that if I get in this situation, sometimes I have to turn out a couple of cards that I'm not crazy about before I get the mojo flowing... That's exactly what I did - and one by one the cards I was creating started to be easier and more creative...
Enter this new stamp set I recently got for a bargin at Michaels. I don't buy many real stamps anymore with the availability of digital - but when I saw this set from Recollections on sale, I knew I had to have it... I mean how cute is this?
It's hard to tell from the photo, but there are about five different layers here... I used the flower background stamp on the back, then used the fence about four times, sillouette cut and popped up, then the gnome, then extra flowers and the cute little turtle and mushrooms on top. It's busy but so stinkin' cute ... all from one set of stamps. Whatcha think?
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Make it Monday - #102 - Linky Party
Paper Make Up - #49 - 3-2-1 (three colors, two mushrooms, one gnome)
Party Time Tuesday - PPT81 - Garden Delights
Moving Along With The Times - Anything But Square
One Stitch At A Time - #126 - Anything Goes
Everybody Art Challenge - #201 - Summer

I think it's freakin' adorable.
I love gnomes. They make me smile. Plus, there are so many gnome puns one can use...
Anyway, gret coloring and design, including all the layers...
