Wow - huge weekend here! I coach a girls club volleyball team and we had a three day tourney this last weekend! I have to give a shout out to my girls here!!!! They ROCKED IT! Winning our bracket and finishing with a championship plaque! (Sorry, had to brag a bit!)
Now on to the main reason for being here. Today is the first day for a new challenge at Tiddly Inks. We want to see your project featuring primary colors! (Red, yellow and blue for those of you who might not remember your grade school art classes). Our design team has some great inspiration for you at the site and to boot, there are some new images that will have you rolling right along... Go check it out!
For my card I used the adorable image called "Whatever Blooms", colored with my Copics, then put on some bright and fun primary papers. I added a simple statement in the middle of a die cut flower and finished it off with a little ribbon.
(Sorry about the wonky camera angle, but I was trying to hurry so I could get to a volleyball match...hehe).
Now for the catch up... Because I was so preoccupied with the tournament this weekend, I totally spaced out our Inspiration Friday post at Tiddly... So I thought I would toss that one in here today.
This adorable stamp is called "Ellie Says Be Happy" and was part of the huge release from a couple of weeks ago. Again she is colored with my Copics, then some great Basic Grey papers are layered, finished off with some blooms, a ribbon and a great quote stamp for the sentiment. Colorful and cheery!!!!
I would like to enter the red, yellow and blue card in the following challenges:
Make it Monday - Linky party
Papertaike Weekly - Lovely layers
Love to Scrap - Anything goes
Paper Makeup Stamps - Add dimension
Craft Your Passion - Girly girl
Quirky Crafts - Layer it up
Theses cards are gorgeous... love your coloring, is awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteI saw this on MIM and came for a closer look.
Hugs,
Ardilla :)
WOW- these are GORGEOUS!!!! Love the way you color the hair. I would love a private lesson - where do you live, hehe? Give up the volleyball -risk of injury to the hands, LOL you need to keep all fingers to color. Both of the cards are wonderful, saw them at Tiddly Inks and MIM.
