Perfect Layers Blog Hop

Welcome to the cutest little perfect blog hop! For a second time, Tiddly Inks has decided to pair with Laura and her team at Perfect Paper Crafting.  The blog hop will run from Monday May 5 at 9:00 am PST to Friday May 9 midnight PST.

For my card I worked with the adorable image from Tiddly Inks called Danni Dress Up.  Colored her with my Copics then fussy cut her out.

For the background I used a metal stencil I had with the airbrush system from Perfect Layers.  I have a couple of tips for this - make sure your marker is "very" wet, as that helps a lot.  I actually used a Fantastic Stick that I wet with my Copic re-inker.  Worked well!  The accent color on it is a cheap kids marker that worked in the system as well.  You have to be very patient and work it over and over again, but I am thrilled with the results.  I also used the Perfect Layer rules as I have been a fan of these for years and years.  They are a "must have" in my book as I don't craft without them.

    What a beautiful card and just perfect for Mother's Day. How many of us played dress up as little girls. I love the air brushed background with the lovely butterflies. You did such a great job on this card. I was debating the Danni Dress Up image but after seeing your card it will definitely be on my list.
