Tiddly Inspiration Friday

It's Fab Friday over at Tiddly Inks today and our wonderful design team has plenty to inspire you with... hop on over and check out all the wonderful eye candy!

I know I say this all this time, but this time.... well, it's so true.... I picked one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE IMAGES from Tiddly called "Bugs and Kisses".  Have you ever seen a cuter image?  I think not!!! hehe.

I inked her up with my Copics (of course), then kept the card simple with some scraps from my stash to match the two tone color scheme.  I found this little sentiment stamp in the dollar bin at my local Wallyworld and it just seemed to fit the image perfectly.  Simple, but adorable if you ask me!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Party Time Tuesdays- Anything Goes
CRAFT Challenge - Love/Valentines
Milk Coffee Challenge - Valentines/Love
Penny's Paper Challenge - Spots and Dots
Make it Monday - Linky Party

A new stamp from Elizabeth Bell

I just shared this card over at the Whimsy Inspiration blog, so I thought I would post it here as well.  I used the adorable new stamp from Elizabeth Bell called "Little Miss Muffet and Bodie".  She is one of my all time favorite stamp designers and I had so much fun inking her up with my Copics.  Coloring is the best part of card design, and let's face it, without a great image, there's no fun!

It's challenge time at Tiddly Inks... And our theme this week is "Tag You're It!"  I can't believe some of the tags the ladies on the design team did this week.  You really should go check out the blog to see all of the eye candy we have for you.

For my tag I used the adorable image "Wren Hanging Around".  I used watercolor paper and paints to make a simple backdrop for my Copic colored image of Wren playing in a tree.  I added a simple sentiment, and some hand stitching to complete the look.

Whimsy Stamps New Release - New Artists

Welcome to our first rubber & die release of the year!

We are making some changes to our releases this year. We are now going to release our new rubber and dies every other month rather than every month. As a consequence, the bi-monthly releases will be BIGGER than our previous monthly releases, and so we are now going to hold a 5 day release event for each release!

We would also love you to join us in welcoming 3 new artists to the Whimsy Stamps family this month! Cathy Delanssay and Sandy Allnock are both amazing image artists who have their own unique style of art, and Simonne Clay (our DT Coordinator) is dipping her toe into the world of design and has come up with some wonderful new word art and dies for us this month. We hope you will love their designs as much as we do!

Today the Whimsy DT is kicking off our January release with a blog hop to share sneak peeks of some of the brand new Cathy Delanssay and Sandy Allnock stamps that will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store on WEDNESDAY!

We are hiding FOUR prizes of 2 new release rubber stamps on the DT’s blogs throughout the 5-day release event. You have until the end of the release week to leave comments on ALL the DT’s blogs each day. We will draw the lucky winners over the weekend and announce them here on the Whimsy blog on Monday (January 27th).

For my card I used the adorable Skylar and Trigger image my Sandy Allnock.  I colored it with my Copics, added some fun western material, used a great western embossing folder to create the barbed wire, then tossed on a cute burlap star.  It's a great image for that rootin' tootin' cowboy in your life.

Thanks so much for visiting us today. Happy hopping!

Tiddly Inspiration Friday

It's the weekend - and I couldn't be more ready for it!!!  I plan on spending some time with my Copics inking up some great Tiddly images and de-stressing a little bit.  What are your plans?

Over at the Tiddly blog the design team has some great cards to get you inspired and ready to create.  Stop by and take a look.

For my card I used an older image that I just love... She is called "Avenger - Masked Hero" and she is even on sale right now.  You get this adorable stamp plus several sentiments all for $1.00.  You know you want her!!!!

I inked her with my Copics, added a some fun design papers and some doodling to a blue background.  I used a circle punch and hand cut some triangles to form the sun.  Then used a OI die cut for the clouds, but you could easily just cut them out too.  I finished the bottom with a couple of rows of a Fiskars border punch for the grass.  Simple embellishment for the image but I love the way it created the happy scene.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday - Warm It Up
Sweet Stampin Challenge - Girly but no Pink
Card Mania - Anything Goes
Make it Monday - Linky party

Tiddly Inks - CAS style challenge

It's been a while since we've had a challenge at Tiddly Inks - so we thought we would start the year off with a "Clean and Simple" challenge.  Now, for some of us this is a "real" challenge.  I don't do CAS very easily, but I love the way this one came out.

I used the adorable image called Faythe Flies, colored with my Copics and then put on a couple of patterned papers from my stash of Basic Grey papers along with a ribbon strip.  The sentiment is a stamp and die cut combo from Whimsy Stamps.  I added a little bit of doodling to the edges to complete the look.

Time to show us what your take is on the challenge of CAS.  Join in the fun for a chance at some great prizes.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Make it Monday - Linky party
Little Red Wagon - All purpose card
Papertake Weekly - Anything goes
V's Sweet Ideas - Anything goes
