Back from vacation with some crazy bird love!

So, we are back from our "unplugged" week in the mountains... and it couldn't have been a better vacation!  I love my husband so much and spending a week away with him, in the beautiful Colorado mountains during the fall was heaven.  I came back refreshed and rejuvenated!

I also came back to a desire to create... and first to have fun with was the Tim Holtz Crazy Bird stamps that had just come in the mail before I left.



I kept this one simple, wanting to use the water colored background to set them off.  I colored the birds with distress inks, then found a simple sentiment to add.  A little doodled borders and all done!  Simple but fun!

    Welcome home! Next year...it's gonna be the 4 of us up at that cabin!! Those birds are AWESOME! And, your doodled border is perfect. How come your doodling looks SO MUCH BETTER than mine? So not fair.
