Angel card - Crafter's Companion

I love angels... in fact, I have a collection of them - no clue how many - but a lot!  They make me happy and remind me of all the loved ones that have gone before me, watching over me!  So when I joined the Crafter's Companion design team, the first image I was drawn to was this one... such a sweet little angel and I love the sentiment with it.  The stamp is called Peace Angel from Moonbeam Meadows Christmas stamps.

I colored it with distress inks and then added some sparkle with a fine glitter pen.  This would be done so easily now with the Spectrum Sparkle pens, but I didn't have them then... So, I had to work with what I had.  I used distress inks in a bunch of colors:  Scattered Straw, Tea Dye, Wild honey, Aged Mahogany, Brushed Corduroy, Stormy Sky, Weathered Wood, Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose and Pine Needles.

It turned out simple, but sweet.  I think I know exactly who will be getting this card.  A dear friend who shares my love of angels!

I think I'll enter this card in some challenges:

That Crafty Place - Christmas
Stamping Sensations - Anything goes w/ a stamp and ribbon
Just Add Ink - C = Christmas
Craft Your Passion - Anything goes
Through the Craft Room Door - Christmas

Thanks so much for stopping in.

Hugs,
Jodi
