CYP #126 - Flower Power

Happy Labor Day!  I'm enjoying my day off, looking forward to good food and fellowship with my family today!  Hope you're as lucky!

Our challenge this week at Craft Your Passion is all about the Flower Power!  We want to see your projects with flowers "in the image", not just as an embellie.  I choose this wonderfully versitile image from Delicious Doodles (you know I love Teri's images).  I shaded it lightly with some chalk, keeping it monochromatic.  Stippled distress ink and and some rough edges complete the image portion.  I used some great paper scraps from DCWV, as well as one of my favorite deeply embossed papers.  Then I added some gauze and lace along with a pretty sheer ribbon.  Beautiful Prima flowers finished it off.

Time to show us what you can do... bring on the Flower Power!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Party Time Tuesday - Anything Goes
Make it Monday - Linky Party
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Daring Cardmakers - Focus on Flowers
Stampalot Challenge - Victorian Inspiration
