CYP #130 - Save the Hooters

It's the start of October - one of my favorite months... I love the change fall brings, the crisp nights and the autumn colors.  Volleyball season is in full swing, so I'm in the gym a lot doing what I love.  And the holidays are fast approaching - but there's another reason October is such an important month.  It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month - it's the time we remember to check ourselves, support our survivors (love you Diane and Stephanie) and remember those who have lost their fight.

This month is more important to me than ever this year --- one of my dear friends, a lady who brings sunshine to those around her and someone I love and treasure is starting her fight with this horrible decease.  So, if you are reading this I ask that you will lift Gigi up in your prayers!

Our challenge at Craft Your Passion is "Save the Hooters"... and we have some great inspiration over at the site.  Come join us in this challenge to show your support!!!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Make it Monday - Linky party
A Gem of a Challenge - For the girls
Jackson Digital Expressions - Breast cancer awareness
Do You Stack Up - Scallops
4 Crafty Chicks - Health and fitness

This card is just beautiful and your post is so well written. The contrast of the white and bright colours is very dramatic and eye-catching. You have such a way with sweet little unexpected details like the ribbon treatment.
All the best to your friend. May she stay strong.
