New Gig - Scrapper's Delights

I am excited and thrilled to annouce a new team I just started designing for... You gotta go check out the wonderful images over at Scrapper's Delights! Janice is soooo talented and her designs have such a wide range and variety.

I got a chance to design with this image called Rabbit Parka 2. Isn't she just too cute? There are several in the series with this adorable girl... You gotta go check them out.

For this card I colored her with my Copics, then used my Cricuit to cut the loopy frame. I used some fancy papers from DCWV, added a bubbly silk ribbon bow, a small flower I had made months ago that turned out to be an extra, some silky leaves and finished it all off with some black rhinestones. The simple sentiment was a dollar bin one from Studio G... I love the colors on this one - the purple, grey and black make for a very rich card, don't you think?

Well, be ready for some more examples from Scrappers Delights - I finished up another couple this weekend and will be showing them off as the digi's become available in the store... Until then, go check out all the great images over there - you'll fall in love just like I have!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Copic Marker Scrapbooking - Love Fest

Kathy Zaban has designed another great set for Copic Marker Scrapbooking. It's a Valentine's Day set and so adorable. I picked a couple of them to make these cards, but you can check out all of the design team's inspiration at Making Our Mark. Stop by and check them all out!

I used my Copics (what else?) to color these images. The top card is made with DCWV papers, American Traditions ribbons, and the scallop border punch and sentiment stamp from EK Success. The cupcake card is a tri-fold card with a Cricut cut oval flower cut twice and folded over the edges of the folds. I added a little ribbon and some little glitter pen details to highlight. The inside sentiment stamp is another EK Success one. All the papers on this one were just from my stash of scraps.

I will be entering the "I just love you" card into the following challenges:

Make it Monday - #74 - Linky Party

Stamps R Us Challenge - Valentine / Love

Paper Makeup Stamp - #21 - Digi Makeover - Be My Valentine

Paper Sundaes - #105 - Valentines

Father's Day Card

I admit it... Masculine cards are tough for me! In fact, I struggle with them tremendously. I always want to add more, but am never sure what to add and how much of it throw on there. In this case, I played around with adding actual watch parts, clock hands, rivets, watch faces... all kinds of things, but nothing really worked. I ended up just leaving it very basic and simple. The clock paper is adorned with lots of sparkle and gloss, and the stamped image is imbossed in brass. I got this image in the dollar bin - it's from Studio G (Hampton Arts). The papers are DCWV, shape is cut with my Cricut. I'm not in love with it... Any suggestions?

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Saturday Challenge - #138 - A male card

One Stop Craft Challenge - #135 - Father's Day card

Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C91 - Masculine card
