Crafter's Companion - Design Team

I can finally yell from the tops of the hills... I made the Crafter's Companion Education Design Team!  I've been so excited to share, but had to be good and wait for the official notification to come out.  I can't wait to dive right in and discover all of the wonderful products they produce.  I hope you'll find lots of inspiration in my creations and tutorials.

The first card I am sharing is called "Dream Big" and was made using some of the exciting products Crafter's Companion produces.

For this card, I used the wonderful new Spectrum Aqua Markers that are available at Crafter's Companion.  They come in a bunch of great colors and are soooo much fun to play with.  They are deceptively easy to use as well.  In the months ahead I'll be showing lots of great techniques to achieve many different looks using these markers.

This card uses a stamp from the Kimono Porcelain for the focal point, then the Dream Big sentiment from the same set.  I embossed it on watercolor paper using clear embossing powder.  All of the coloring is added with the Spectrum Aqua Markers on both the image and the background.  It is easy to achieve a great watercolored looking background with these markers.

I am excited and thrilled to be able to share this news with you.  I'll be back soon to post another project.  I hope you can find some inspiration here!

I will be entering this card in some challenges:

The Paper Girls - use "real" stamps
V's Sweet Ideas - bling it on
Love to Scrap - bling it, girlfriend
Craft Your Passion - anything goes

Thanks for stopping!
Hugs,
Jodi
