CYP 94 - Color Bingo - Limited Runs

Craft Your Passion has a new challenge! We are trying something new... Color bingo! I picked the green, brown, blue combo for this adorable image from Limited Runs. Isn't he just too cute? I colored him using my Copics, but left a lot of white space and less blending than normal. I kept the card simple this time around, using some cute papers from my stash, some cork paper, and a craft card background. The tig is real, from my front yard tree and the sentiment is from Hampton Arts. The banner is hand cut from scraps and strung on some cute yarn that looks a lot like bakers twine. I finished the card with some thin black outlines on all the layers, giving it a final detail.

Check out the challenge site for our color bingo chart and some great inspiration from our design team. Join us this week for a chance to win three images from Limited Runs and a $20 gift voucher from Simon Says. Great prizes this week, huh?

Copic Marker Scrapbooking - Thanksgiving Stamps

There are some new great stamps over at Copic Marker Scrapbooking - I had so much fun with these images... The scarecrow card is an easel card and the turkey is a dinner invitation. Both of them feature my favorite coloring medium, Copic Markers. Hop on over to the Making Our Mark blog to check out some other great examples using these images. And don't forget you can find anything Copic related over at Copic Marker Scrapbooking - Go check it out!

Delicious Doodles Challenge #2 - Cute as a button

Delicious Doodles has another great challenge going - hop on over to get the details about our "Cute as a button" challenge #2.

My card for this challenge this week uses this adorable squirrel and a fun little saying that seemed married from the beginning. I colored her with my Copics, cut her out and added some simple background papers. Then a few buttons, some fitting corner pieces and easy-peasy, it's done! This was a fun one to complete.

I'd love to see what you can do with buttons - so come join us in the fun. You'll have a great opportunity to win some wonderful images!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Make It Monday #54 - Linky Party
Cute Card Thursday #182 - Anything Goes

Happy Birthday Card

I worked on this card last night for the challenge over at Ribbon Carousel... Shabby Chic with ribbon or lace. (RCC2). The sentiment and shape are from Hampton Arts. The paper is Die Cuts with a View, the lace and ribbon are from Creative Impressions and the flowers are from Prima.

I like the way it turned out. So, I thought I would post it over on The Spotted Chick (TKT51) for her Crafty Thursday... still one of my favorite blogs to visit.

While I was at it, they were working with some of my favorite color combinations at the Play Date Cafe, (PDCC81) purple, green and grey, so I linked it over there too.

... it all came together in a sweet birthday card soon to be on the desk of a co-worker...

2s4y Sketch 58 - Krafty Thursday Spotted Chick - B-Line Designs

As soon as I saw this stamp from B-Line Designs, I knew I had to do a "support" card... I love love love the designs that Bev comes up with for her stamps. They are so unique and original and just right down my alley.... Vintage! I adore the way this one came out... So fun!

The sketch is from 2s4y - at least it's my loose interpretation of it... and it's also for the Krafty Thursday over at one of my favorite blogs, The Spotted Chick. Check my links at the left to find either of those blogs for more eye candy!
I am not sure who the patterned pink paper is from, although my guess is it's an old piece from Provo Craft. The brown dotted paper is My Mind's Eye. The rest is just cardstock, lots of distressing and stippling with sepia ink and some ribbon from Creative Impressions.

Thanks for stopping by... Enjoy your Friday!
